(CS) with integrated central shutter corresponds to that of the classic 35 mm focal length for 35 mm photography and, with its moderate wide-angle coverage and true-to-life perspectives, is outstanding for landscapes and architectural photography as well as for studio work. Its extremely complex formula and construction, designed to deliver maximum contrast at maximum aperture and at its shortest focusing distance, ensures that it is practically free of aberrations – monochromatic aberration is virtually nonexistent and chromatic aberrations are reduced to an absolute minimum.
