The SIGMA 1.4/16mm DC DN 'Contemporary' is the world's first interchangeable lens for 'L-Mount' cameras with APS-C sensors, which has a focal length of 24mm (äquiv. 35mm-KB) and an aperture of F1.4. It is the wide-angle, high-speed lens that LEICA CL and TL customers have been waiting for. The 1.4/16mm, which comes from the same development concept as the SIGMA 1.4/30mm DC DN 'Contemporary', has a lens construction made of 16 elements in 13 groups and consists of high-quality materials. The lens effectively minimizes optical aberrations and delivers excellent resolution even with the aperture wide open and across the entire aperture range.
